'Almost Everything': the book of a lifetime
This is the BIG ONE! After 2 years work I've finally published the book of a lifetime. Written to celebrate the coinciding milestones of my 60th birthday and Sargasso's 30th anniversary, 'Almost Everything' collects all of my releases to date, whether solo albums or my work with Colin Bass, Mysteries of the Revolution, Echo Engine, L'Orange and other collaborations. It also includes 3 collections of unreleased music including my film and TV soundtracks and early works.
It all adds up to 40 albums with full-page artwork, behind the scenes 'making of' descriptions and credits. I also wrote and introductory biographical essay with personal photos. The book concludes with an in-depth interview by composer and friend John Palmer. Almost everything is revealed...
Printed as a strictly limited edition of 100 copies, signed and numbered, the book is accompanied by an optional USB key containing all the audio for all 40 albums (CD-quality + MP3s + digital images).
Enough music for a lifetime?... Well, for a while anyway.
